Biodiversity Conservation Madagascar is a registered (no. 409/02-PA/ANT/SPAT/ASS) Madagascan non-governmental organization founded in 2002. We work with local communities and authorities to protect ecological sites of high biodiversity value in need of protection, where there are no competing organizations and the threats are manageable. We employ 46 permanent Madagascan staff to manage our two sites, Beanka Protected Area (PA) and Sahafina PA. Our major partner is Bioculture (Mauritius) ltd.
